- Less greenish chocolate bars.
- and some other minor changes.
Here are some hints to begin:
Chocoletters is a rather hard game. Don't worry if you get 0 as your first scores. You will be soon able to gain time.
Learner and Easy modes
- Ask for paths beginning with the start letter, ending with what you choose, until you get the third shared letter. Then you can start.
- Try to find the shared neighboring letter between two others, going from top left towards bottom right.
- If you get the longest way (11 tiles long) you can place the bottom right tile.
- If so and if the 1st column or the 1st row is complete, ask for the path leading from the last letter of the column or row to the bottom right letter. So you'll get a full row or column.
Hard mode
- I think you need at least ten paths to start. Ask for paths beginning with the apple tile (as Auto Paths mode does). Your first goal is to place the apple tile.
- Observe the tiles that follow the apple tile. If there are only two different, the apple tile is in a corner, if there are three, it's on a border, if there are four, it's somewhere in the middle of the grid
- Observe the length of the longest paths in the "good direction" (towards right and bottom, black leading numbers) and in the "reverse order" (towards left and top, red leading numbers). You will soon recognize some configurations at first glance and find the location of the apple tile.
- Then you can place the last letter of these two longest paths in two corners and if they are not diagonally arranged, ask for the path leading from one to the other and so you get a full row or column. Look for the path that goes straight ahead from the apple tile to that row or column.
- If they are diagonally arranged, proceed like in Easy mode.
